Thrive Community Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Thrive community! We're thrilled to have you here. We are a platform that enables web3 communities to automatically validate, reward, and record valuable contributions across digital platforms. Joined by a common bond: a desire to build the Contribution Economy, our aim is to help all our partner communities build self-sustaining, thriving contribution ecosystems. To this end, contributors to this site pledge to maintain a harassment-free environment for all participants across all thriveprotocol.com platforms and community spaces, including any Thrive-related spaces or direct messages on X/Twitter, Discord, Discourse or Telegram (collectively, the “Thrive Spaces”).

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all Thrive Spaces.

To ensure that our community remains inclusive, respectful, and vibrant, we ask all members to adhere to this Code of Conduct. By participating in our community, you agree to uphold these principles.

1. Be Respectful

Treat every community member with respect, regardless of their background, identity, or opinions. We encourage open and constructive discussions, but personal attacks, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Foster Inclusivity

Thrive values diversity. We welcome people from all walks of life and backgrounds. Create an environment where everyone feels safe to express their thoughts and ideas.

3. Keep it Civil

Healthy debates and discussions are encouraged, but remember to keep the tone civil and avoid aggressive or disruptive behavior. We're here to learn and grow together.

4. Respect Privacy

Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information without consent, and be mindful of the data you share within the community.

5. Stay On-Topic

While we encourage lively discussions, please keep conversations relevant to the community's focus – Thrive and related topics. 

6. No Spam or Self-Promotion

Please refrain from spamming the community with unrelated content or promoting your own products or services without prior approval from the appropriate moderation team.

7. Report Violations

If you witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, report it to the appropriate moderation team promptly. We rely on our community members to help maintain a positive environment.

8. Follow Community Guidelines

In addition to this Code of Conduct, we may have specific guidelines for different community channels or platforms. Familiarize yourself with and adhere to these guidelines as well.

9. Consequences of Violations

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans from the Thrive community, depending on the severity of the breach. The moderation team will assess each situation individually.

10. Evolving Community

This Code of Conduct is not set in stone. We may update it to better serve our community's needs. It's essential to stay informed about any changes and continue to uphold these principles.
